Rain

relaxing - R - ravaging
alluring - A - atrocious
interesting - I - intimidating
nostalgic - N - nefarious

Rain is defined as a somewhat gloomy and morose weather condition. Skies turn dark. Clouds get shaded with a sense of imminent doom. Thunder and lightning accompanies the overtowering shadow of the clouds over the skies. It's a very scary situation that no one wants to go through.
But some of us aren't that fortunate.

But once the rain is over, a glimmer of sunshine glows at the far end of the sky.
A twinkle of hope at the beams of the colourful spectrum of light.
A rainbow of opportunities and a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow (if there's an end).
Read and peel the onion.
Dedicated to my beloved Tara!
Hold on and be strong.
(:
Peace.

Typical Day

Snapshots painted in letters.. of a typical day.

Waking up..
Blurred vision of black and white images of my ceiling fan.. Spinning.. Air con whirring at a sensible temperature.. Blanket cocooning my foetal self for a few more minutes before my alarm on my phone starts to blare away again..

Breakfast..
The orange glowing light of the fridge.. Milk cartons. Water bottles. Milo. Spells out a hasty breakfast morning..

Riding to KTM on the reliable EX5..
The mini hustle bustle of Sg buloh streets.. Sand, dust and wind blow into my face. Cars zooming by.. And then the blue roof of the KTM from afar. The corn rows of motorbikes parked with unison, tilted to the left with a helmet dangling from the seat..

Commuting by the unreliable KTM..
Office workers, foreigners and chinkos.. A typical situation in a train which needs no gloomy descriptions.

Walking to college from KTM..
Pollution. Noise. Beggars. Means, KL city. Cars zoom as I cross the roads of KL. Beggars twitch for money to buy them fag.. Sound all fades as I approach the ATC building..

Reaching college at 9.29am..
Pakar Singh! 'Check-in Counter' and slow lifts. Silent whispers around. Intellectuality ensues..
Books. Lecturers.. Tags. Friends.

Getting educated..
Back of students heads like in a theatre. Books. Big Words.. All getting jumbled up. A man with a tie stands in front speaking with authority.. And the need for Kopi O.

Kopitiam.. :)
Plastic stools, plastic tables, coffee. coffee. coffee. Fellow chinapeks laugh as they stir their cuppa black coffee.. Old timers, Old times. Ah.. Our Starbucks.

Chilling-sessions..
After class, another round of Starbucks but outside.. Educated Converse-Shoes-Wearing uncle serving coffee now.. Nasi lemak.. And.. The hunger pang! Sun starts setting.. Skies glooming..

Journey home for a kampung boy from the hustle and bustle of the big city..
KTM.. KL.. to Sg Buloh.. On the bike and home. to Cindy, my wrestling buddy. :D Then, online, Euro and sleep.. Back to Black and white visions of the ceiling fan, whirring air con.. Mmm.. :)

Peace.
